Phasmophobia is the most popular co-op horror game right now, and rightfully so.
In this game, you play as a paranormal investigator who goes to houses or buildings to find out the type of ghost lurking around, among other things.
The game also allows voice recognition, which means you can say certain phrases or words to try to get the ghost to react. If voice recognition isn’t working for you, here’s a potential fix.
Reactions can be by way of appearance, throwing of things, voice through the spirit box or even moving of the Ouija Board.

Spirit Box Questions And Phrases
For the spirit box, you can use the same questions or phrases you typically use when generally roaming around the building.
Most players would use the question “can you say something?” or just generally ask questions like “do you want us to leave?“.
The ghost will normally respond saying something like “adult“, “death” or “kill“.
Ouija Board Questions And Phrases
The more common ones for the Ouija Board are asking the ghost how old he / she is, the ghost’s location and also to show us the his / her favorite room.

How To Provoke The Ghost
Some players love to provoke the ghost to make him / her start hunting.
The best way is to just use the ghost’s name which is given inside the van’s whiteboard.
You can also use phrases like “I’m afraid“, “I’m scared” or “Help” to potentially trigger the ghost.
