Prison is the latest map in Phasmophobia and you’ll encounter jail cells in certain blocks.
One of the main questions most players have is whether the ghost can see you through the jail bars.
In those jail blocks, it can be hard to hide otherwise. Here’s what players have been saying about the jail cells in the Prison map of Phasmophobia.
Prison map layout
Below is the layout of the Prison map. There are only two floors in the map and if you look at the top left and right corner, there are cell blocks.
They are divided into Block A (left) and Block B (right).
Can jail bars be used to hide from ghosts?
If you encounter the ghost in one of the Blocks A or B, it can be difficult to hide from the ghost, since you can’t run fast.
Logically, the only place you can hide is inside the jail cells / behind the jail bar.
You have to close the door as well.
Players are mostly saying that it actually works when you close the door, i.e. the ghost may not see you.
However, like regular doors, the ghost can definitely spot you if you’re in the line of sight or if you make a sound through your mic (even though you’re not using in-game voice).
