Sound sensor is a device in Phasmophobia which you can use to listen to rather quiet vibrations or sounds in the air.
This helps you to determine where the ghost is probably roaming around. Finding where the ghost is lurking is one of the most crucial steps in the game.
Here’s how you can use a sound sensor in Phasmophobia.
Purchase a sound sensor
Before you can use it, you have to buy it for 80 bucks each. You may need more than one.
Also, it’s only unlocked after you reach a certain level. If you have higher level friends, you can ask them to bring some but they are not a staple choice.
How to use sound sensors
To use sound sensors, just place them on the wall.
You should place them in different areas of the house. If it’s a double-storey house, having one at each floor will be helpful to determine the ghost’s location.
Once you’ve placed the sound sensors, go back to your van.
The graph will show you the location of each sensor and how much sound it is picking up.
If nobody’s inside the house, then you’ll find the ghost’s potential whereabouts based on the sound level.
Do you need sound sensors?
As it’s expensive and there are other ways to find the ghost, sound sensors are not a popular choice.
Furthermore, sound sensors may not be part of an optional objective at the moment. Motion sensors are more important as they may form an optional objective.
