Follow the trail of mold
Use Odin’s sight to see the trail properly. They will be glowing in green.
Go all the way until you reach the hole that leads to the lair.
Explore Grime’s Graves
Inside the cave, use Odin’s sight to find for clues.
Keep following the trail of clues.
You will eventually reach an area filled with green moldy gas. The mother is in a room nearby.
Before you can get to the mother, you have to take Grendel’s Home Key near the locked door.
You will then be able to open the door.
Defeat the monster
Here, you need to kill the mother of Grendel. She is actually the woman who lied to Eivor about Hrothgar.
Return to Wulfhilda
After the fight, get out of the cave and head back to Wulfhilda who is in Brisleah Farm.
The quest ends here.
