Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Childhood Sweetheart Walkthrough

Childhood Sweetheart is a quest under Essexe in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Your task is to find Alfida and bring her to reunite with Birstan.

Find and speak to Alfida

First of all, go to Maeldun. The location is shown in the map below, marked by the quest symbol.

Look for the house which is guarded by many Saxon soldiers. Assassinate them first.

Then, examine the clues in the house.

You won’t find Alfida here but you’ll find Eluric who is the younger brother. He will be hiding in the shed.

To rescue Alfida, head to Brentwood Outpost. The location is shown below, marked by the quest symbol.

If you don’t wish to go in alone, you can actually call a raid here.

Once the soldiers are distracted by your crewmates, look for the house Alfida is imprisoned in.

As the door is locked, you will need to get the key. The guard with the key is nearby. Kill him and loot the key.

Enter the house and rescue Alfida. You’ll need to carry her out.

Carry Alfida and bring her to the Lake House. It’s north or northeast of the outpost as shown in the map below.

Once you’re there, place her inside the house.

The quest ends after the cutscene.
