In the new Mistlands update for Valheim, you may see big structures in the region like the Ancient Sword and Ancient Armor.
They look like remnants of weapons and armor used by giants in the past.
Here’s how you can destroy Ancient Sword and Ancient Armor in Valheim.
How to destroy Ancient Sword & Armor
You’ll notice that normal weapons can’t do a single damage to it.
You will need to craft a Black Metal Pickaxe in order to break it down. To craft a Black Metal Pickaxe, you need Black Metal and Yggdrasil wood.
Once you have the pickaxe, you can slowly mine the Ancient items.
They will give you scrap iron in return. It’s actually a good source of getting iron in the Mistlands biome.
