Junk Heap has several floors and basement two is accessible after the first Act of NieR Replicant version 1.22.
Your objective is to get memory alloy to allow Gideon to make a weapon for you.
Here’s a walkthrough of Basement Two – Junk Heap in NieR Replicant.
This time, use the elevator to go down to B2 instead.
How to get memory alloy
Memory alloy basically drops from the bigger robots that are available in certain big rooms.
Once you’re in basement 2, you’ll see a rather big map. You may want to explore the upper part of the map first before going down.
If you head to the big room on the upper left of the map, you’ll face 1 big robot. It comes out from the bigger circle.
The fight is quite straightforward. You can just spam Dark Blast and jump over its electric wave attacks.
Once it’s dead, it will drop one of a few rare items. You may get titanium alloy or even memory alloy.
If you’re lucky, you may get memory alloy right away. You may need more than one memory alloy as another quest will require it.
Once you’re done with the top part, you can start to head to the bottom half of the map.
Here, you need to use the cart to move.
Like before, you’ll be bombarded by cannons and flying robots.
Once again, you’ll face a big robot. Take it down and you will get another rare item.
Head to the Depths
In the next part of the map, you’ll see Junk Heap: Depths. The aim is to get there, but you can first explore the other parts to get more raw materials.
Get back to the surface
Once you’re in the Depths, your aim is to head to the surface.
Just climb up the stairs.
Use the elevator and go to 1F.
At 1F, you’ll see a path blocked by a barrier. You can save the game first. This might be a later fight.
Also, break the crate to get a weapon. You’ll obtain the spear Beastcurse.
When you’re done, jump down the hole and you’ll reach this arena in the image below.
For now, just head to the next elevator.
Use it to get to the surface.
Return to Gideon
Get back to Gideon to hand over the memory alloy.
He’ll send you a letter once the weapon is ready.
