Ordinary Routine (1930) is the fourth mission in the story-driven game Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Your task is to follow Sam and Paulie collect debts but you’ll encounter an obstacle.

Meet with Salieri
After the cutscene, you’ll be asked to meet the Don. Head to his office.
Talk to Vincenzo
Then, you have to talk to Vincenzo.
He’ll give you a pistol. You will then need to learn how to use it.
Equip the pistol and aim at the target. There isn’t any bullet so you won’t be able to shoot yet.
Take the bullets and reload the gun. You will also need to holster the gun and the lesson is done.
Meet Ralph
To get your car, meet Ralph at the garage.
He will teach you how to pick a car lock. Pick the lock and you’re ready to go.
Just wait for Sam and Paulie to get in.
Drive to the first collection
Head to the bakery at Longman Street to get the protection money. The game allows you to skip the ride if you’re feeling lazy.
Otherwise, just park in front of the bakery. Enter the bakery.
Collect money
Head to the employee section of the bakery to collect the money.
There’s a cigarette card inside.
Go towards the old lady but you can ignore her.
The baker will tell you to take the brown envelope on the counter.
Head back to the car.
Drive to the second collection
This time, you have to drive to the China Store on Tallow.
Paulie will do the collecting and you just have to wait in the car while Tommy talks to Sam.
Drive to the motel
For the third collection, head to the motel up north.
As you reach, there’ll be a cutscene where Paulie gets shot. Sam is taken hostage by the thugs inside.
Find a way into the motel
Equip your pistol as there are plenty of guys to shoot.
Go to the back of the motel and you’ll see a way to climb up. There will be thugs guarding the back as well.
Enter the motel through the top floor. There will be a few thugs on this floor.
Once you’re done, head down to look for Sam.
Kill all of the remaining thugs downstairs.
Once the area is secure, look for Sam. Open the door in between two deer heads.
There’ll be a cutscene and a thug runs away with the money.
Catch the thug and get the money
After the cutscene, you’ll automatically enter the car. Follow the yellow car and gun it down.
Along the way, there will be a few cars protecting the yellow car. Just shoot those cars until they stop.
As bullets are unlimited here, just keep on shooting.
Search the car wreck
Once the yellow car’s stopped, get down and look at the car wreck.
The mission ends here after the cutscene.
