Cyberpunk 2077: The Beast In Me (The Big Race) Walkthrough

The Beast in Me (The Big Race) is a side mission / job in Cyberpunk 2077.

Your objective is to either win the race or help Claire get revenge.

Here’s a walkthrough of The Beast In Me (The Big Race) in Cyberpunk 2077.

Head to the Big Race

After qualifying for the finals, you will be able to take part in the finals. Get to Charter Hill as marked on the map.

Call Claire to start the race. You can choose between Beast and your rig. This one is up to you.

Then, lean and wait for her to show up.

You will then see Claire arguing with Samson.

After the talk, enter your vehicle as you prepare for the finals.

You will have a choice to either finish the race or stay close to Sampson.

If you choose to finish the race instead, Claire will be mad with you from now on.

I chose to follow Sampson instead.

You just need to stay close to him. His ride may be faster than yours.

After some time, his car has an issue. He will then take a right. You will now have to decide to follow him or to continue straight to win the race.

I chose to follow Sampson until he crashes.

After he crashes his car, confront him with Claire.

You will get to ask Claire how her husband really died.

Apparently Dean died simply because Sampson rammed their car before the finishing line, and it’s allowed under this race.

You can now choose between letting him go and do what you have to do.

I chose to let her do what she wants to do. She’ll then kill Sampson.

After she kills Sampson, talk to her again.

Follow her back. She’ll tell you that she’s quitting races forever.

At the end, she’ll give you the Beast as she doesn’t want the vehicle anymore.

The mission ends here.
