Firestarter is a main mission in Phantom Liberty of Cyberpunk 2077.
Your objective is to rescue or capture Songbird and deal with Kurt Hansen.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Firestarter in Cyberpunk 2077.
You may want to create a new save here in case you wish to choose another ending later.
Drive to the stadium
As the mission begins, head to the stadium with Alex who is pretending to be Aurore Cassel and V is acting as Aymeric Cassel.
Go all the way into the stadium past the guards and checks.
Park the car at the designated location.
Talk to Alex first and she’ll tell you about the information you can access on the bottom left of the screen. It’s to help convince Kurt that you’re legit.
Talk to Murphy
After coming down from the car, talk to Murphy who will bring you to Hansen.
Deposit your weapons on the way there.
Talk to Kurt Hansen
You will then need to talk to Hansen while Songbird is doing her thing.
I chose the following dialogue options like in the images below.
Follow Songbird
Now that Songbird is ready, follow her.
Talk to Songbird
You’ll be talking to Songbird both in reality and in your head as she plots the escape.
Connect to the mainframe when you’re ready.
Help Songbird escape or Help Reed capture Songbird
I chose to help Reed to capture Songbird. It immediately led to Songbird killing Alex. This will then branch into different endings depending on your choices later.
If you choose to help Songbird escape, you’ll later unlock different endings as well. It all depends on who you prefer but no ending is all good. Someone always dies if not mistaken.
Escape the secured area
If you had tried to capture Songbird, she’ll go crazy and starts killing everyone. Escape the area.
On the way out, pick up all your weapons again and you’ll need to re-equip them.
Reach the market exit
There’ll be tons of Hansen’s goons on the way out. Head to the market exit.
Neutralize Hansen and his soldiers
You’ll finally need to neutralize Hansen and his goons. He’s definitely the toughest to kill based on how much HP he has and how he gets close to you for melee.
Once you’re done depleting his health, finish him and loot his items.
Go to the garage
Escape the market and use the elevator to reach the garage.
You’ll see Reed pulling over in his car. Get in the car to escape.
Look for Songbird
After getting out, Reed will drive towards MaxTac who eventually captures Songbird.
The mission ends here.
