Mane and Tail is a short quest that starts during the other quest Reporting on East Anglia in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Your task is to act as a judge and you’re presented a case by both Rowan and Holger.
Here’s what happens if you pick either Rowan is right or Holger is right in AC Valhalla.
“Holger is right” consequences
If you pick Holger the artist as right for this case, Eivor will say that the horse’s tail will regrow and Rowan will not suffer monetary loss.
Having said that, Holger has to apologize to Rowan and also promise not to take things without asking again. Holger did apologize properly.
Rowan was somewhat satisfied with it.
“Rowan is right” consequences
If you choose the other option, i.e. Rowan is right, then Holger is ordered to pay the price of the full horse as he damaged the horse. Damaging the tail is akin to reducing the market value of the horse.
Holger is dissatisfied but he won’t make a fuss about it.
The quest ends regardless.
