Cavern of Trials is one of the mysteries in Cent in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Your task is to find all the keys and unlock the doors to get the final treasure.
Here’s a walkthrough of Cavern of Trials (Cent) in AC Valhalla.
To begin the trial, get to the location shown in the map below, marked by the map marker.
This cavern of trial actually coincides with the quest “Going Deeper…” by Valka.
You will see a house when you arrive. Enter and you’ll see a path going downwards.
Collect the keys
As you descend into the cavern, you will see a note in the beginning. You basically need to find a few keys before you can proceed.
It’s hard to describe where to go inside the cave, so I wouldn’t try. You won’t get lost inside. Just use Odin’s sight to highlight the keys.
If you seem to be stuck because you went one route, you can always redo by fast traveling to the nearest waypoint and coming back to the cavern.
I seemed to miss a key at first, and I restarted to use the other route and got the key.
The keys are dangling on the chains. You just have to grab them as you’re jumping from one side to another.
There are a few keys you need to get:
- Key of Courage (first one from the entrance). This one is used immediately if not mistaken.
- Key of Balance.
- Key of Agility
- Key of Dexterity
Key of Courage
The first key you get in the cavern. Used for the door immediately after.
Key of Balance
This one is located above a pointy rock (stalagmite) but you can’t get it if you’re standing on the same rock. To get to the key, you have to go one round by walking on the ropes. You’ll eventually need to climb onto the upper stalagmite to reach the highest rope.
From the highest rope, you can jump towards the lower stalagmite and grab the key while doing so.
Key of Agility
This one should be quite straightforward and you can get it immediately when you jump.
Key of Dexterity
The Key of Dexterity is in the same area where you see huge fishing nets blocking your way.
To drop the nets, just shoot at the links.
Once the nets are gone, you will be able to move forward.
You should also see a ladder that’s stuck. Shoot at the link and then use the ladder to get to the platform.
From the platform, you can jump and get the Key of Dexterity.
Find the treasure (solve the puzzle)
Near the Key of Dexterity’s area, there should be a steel door somewhere at the bottom. Use your Odin’s sight to see it.
Since you used the first key at the very beginning, you should have three more.
Here, you need to unlock three doors.
There’s also a chest inside.
You will finally reach another simple puzzle. Read the note and you’ll see.
To cross over the stalagmites, you need to use the movable stone / object.
Just climb on it and jump to the other stone.
To get to the next side, you’ll have to move the stone all the way to the next side. Then, jump onto the next stone and repeat the process.
Finally, you’ll see the treasure and another key.
Take the treasure and you will complete the Cavern of Trials. The key above is used to unlock the exit door.
You should exit by the coast.
