Here’s how you can solve the Animus Anomaly puzzle in Briudun Hill (Snotinghamscire) in AC Valhalla.
To begin the world event, head to the location marked on the map below. It’s southwest of Snotingham town.
To begin, click on “Explore Anomaly”.
How to solve the puzzle and get the data packet
The aim of this Animus Anomaly is to get to the top and retrieve the data packet, but it can be difficult to get there.
To climb up onto the floating platform, you should climb onto the tower nearby first.
From the top of the tower, you will see a way to jump onto the floating platform.
In the first area, move the laser’s direction towards the right, past the red screen. The aim is to hit the reflector, but you need to move the reflector as well.
You can actually move the reflector towards the right, and the laser will bounce off to the tall block.
Once it hits the tall block, you will be able to climb up but there’s a time limit. You need to be quick.
Climb onto the ledges on the tall block and follow the ledges up around the tall block (towards the left).
You will eventually reach the upper permanent platform.
Here, you will see two transparent platforms divided by a red wall.
Adjust the laser to hit the left platform first. Use the left platform to reach the left laser.
Move the left laser towards the other transparent platform (behind the red wall).
Go back to the permanent platform and move the reflector towards the right. At the same time, you have to turn the laser (which is on the permanent platform) towards the right and it must hit the reflector.
You will now have two lasers hitting the right-side platform, which means it shouldn’t disappear. Cross over to the right-side laser.
Move that laser to hit the tall block far away.
Go back to the permanent platform and head towards the tall block.
Climb up the tall block to reach the upper platform.
From here, you have two lasers to use but both are temporary.
Each laser should hit one transparent block, and you can then climb up.
The aim is to reach the upper permanent platform. Wait for the transparent platform to be usable and you need to climb up to the permanent platform.
Once you’re on the upper permanent platform, you will see a long line of laser and another reflector. Move the reflector towards the left so that it reflects the laser towards the right side.
You should now see that the laser hits a tall block all the way at the other end. Your aim now is to get to that tall block.
Here, you have to jump onto the permanent pillars and use the temporary blocks to keep going up.
You will then reach some platforms that move up and down. Just time your jumps properly and you’ll eventually reach the top.
