The Knowledge is a side mission by Nowt in Watch Dogs Legion relating to black cabs.
Your task is to find out what’s going on with the AI behind black cabs.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Knowledge in Watch Dogs Legion.
Investigate the black cab accident
Head to the location where the black cab killed someone in Camden.
Hack the deceased’s data to find out what had happened.
Download data from black cabs
You then need to download data from three black cabs. You can find a lot of them in the area.
Be prepared before you click the download button because the cabs will go unruly.
One way to prevent the cab from leaving the area when you’re downloading is by entering the cab.
Erase cab AI prime
Head to the City of Westminster where the cab AI prime is located.
To get to the basement, you have to enter through the lobby.
Use the camera to disable the alarm first. Then, enter through the door and head downstairs. You may need to takedown the guard.
Once you’re down here, disable the alarm first. Make your way to the middle.
There’ll be a couple of guards in the area. As the door to the server is locked, you need to download a key.
The key is located at the bottom floor.
Open the door to the server and interact with it to erase cab AI prime.
After starting the erasure, the computer will try to stop you. You’ll then need to destroy the vehicle jammer.
To destroy the jammer, look for the cab which is marked in yellow. Normally, you’ll be able to find an explosive or a trap near that particular cab.
Just shoot at the explosive or trap to make the cab explode.
The erasure will continue but it will get jammed again. Once again, look for the cab that is jamming the process.
Repeat this until you reach 100% completion. It can be quite tough because every time it gets jammed, more heavily armed guards will come in.
Leave the area to complete the mission.
