Surgical Strike is a Freestar Collective mission in Starfield.
Your objective is to look for Maya Cruz at The Clinic in space.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Surgical Strike in Starfield.
Go to The Clinic
First of all, go to The Clinic which is a ship in the Narion system.
Talk to Ben Armistead
Enter The Clinic and talk to Ben Armistead who is the most senior Ranger.
Follow him to Ari Miller.
Talk to Ari Miller
Then, talk to Ari Miller to ask about Maya Cruz.
Follow him to his computer to check. If you have the security perk, he can allow you to check for the source of the computer issues.
(Optional) Search for the source of the system disruption
Instead of talking to Candace Doolin or Jane Nakamori, I chose the optional route.
Use the computer in the room to search for the source of the disruption.
Look for Query: Disruptor Mk4.
Find a way into the VIP Wing
You’ll then need to access the VIP wing. One way is to get he VIP Wing Keycard.
Go to the room of the doctor who has the keycard. There’s a safe you can unlock.
Inside, you’ll find the keycard.
Access the VIP Wing.
Talk to Catalina Rivera
When you enter the VIP Wing, you’ll immediately be attacked by a hacked turret. Destroy it.
Search for clues
Go to the room and search for clues.
Look for a note “Urgent – Read Immediately” which is on the bedside table. Read it.
Go to Sakharov
After reading the note, head to the Sakharov system.
Investigate the Abandoned Asteroid Mine
You’ll need to board the Eklund Site.
Once you’ve boarded, you have to investigate the Abandoned Asteroid Mine. Use the button to open the Secure Access door.
Inside the mine, you’ll encounter lots of Shardhoppers which are tiny creatures. Get rid of them.
Make your way down and you’ll see a Cuttable Wall. Use the Cutter to destroy the pins of the wall.
Continue ahead and use the elevator to go down.
You’ll then reach a locked door. Go to the office nearby.
Use the remote security door computer to unlock it.
Head through the now-opened door.
Continue to go ahead through the Secure Access door.
Use the elevator to go down lower.
At the bottom, you’ll come across many Robot Model As as well as turrets all over the big space. Destroy them all.
Take out the mining turrets. Make your way up to find Maya Cruz.
You’ll eventually see a Cuttable Wall. Bring the wall down.
Maya Cruz is inside. Defeat her first.
Talk to Maya Cruz
After she’s down, talk to her.
You can attack her and loot her body, or choose to get the slate without killing.
Return to Alex Shadid
Go back to Alex Shadid in Akila City to hand over the slate you acquired from Maya Cruz.
The mission ends here. You’ll earn 9300 credits.
