Deep Cover is a Crimson Fleet mission in Starfield.
Your objective is to help the UC infiltrate the Crimson Fleet as an undercover.

To begin the mission, go to the UC Vigilance in the Sol system.
Head towards the ship and dock.
Follow the Sysdef guard
Once you’re in, talk to the Sysdef guard and then follow him.
Meet Commander Kibwe Ikande
Enter the command room and talk to Commander Kibwe Ikande who called you here.
Talk to Lt. Jillian Toft
After learning about the nature of this assignment, speak to Lt. Jillian Toft for a further briefing.
Speak to Saoirse Bowden
To find a way into the Crimson Fleet, talk to Saoirse Bowden who works for the Trade Authority in Cydonia.
She’ll ask you to pay 1000 credits. It doesn’t seem like you can skip it.
Speak to Adler Kemp
She’ll then point you to Adler Kemp who is at the Broken Spear in Cydonia. It’s the bar nearby.
Talk to Adler Kemp.
He’ll then ask you to collect a debt from Karl Fielding.
Collect Karl Fielding’s debt
Head into Cydonia – Residential. Look for Karl Fielding.
You’ll need to collect his debt. In the dialogue, there are a few options including paying his debt of 3000 credits, persuading him to pay or attacking him.
I chose to persuade him and he paid 3000 credits.
Return to Adler Kemp to deliver the credits.
The mission ends here. You’ll earn 9300 credits.
