Breaking the Bank is a Crimson Fleet mission in Starfield.
Your objective is to travel to the Siren o the Stars to get an ID from Larry Dumbrovsky to access GalBank.

To begin the mission, head to the Siren of the Stars in the Aranae system.
Speak with Evgeny Rokov
You will meet the Crimson Fleet’s contact Evgeny Rokov. Talk to him.
He’ll ask you about the information and you can choose not to tell him.
He’ll also ask for your help to put a good word for him to join the Crimson Fleet.
(Optional) Discover the location of the ES Award
For the ES Award that Naeva asks you to steal, you can get the information on its location from Rokov which is optional.
However, if you share the information with him, Naeva will later say he took a cut from the sales because you told him about it.
Talk to Sheila Holbrooke
The person keeping the ES Award is Shiela Holbrooke. Talk to her.
You can ask to access the award but she won’t allow for sure.
(Optional) Discover how to access the Purser’s safe
Then, you’ll need to discover how to access the safe.
Talk to Chief Purser Murata who is taking charge of the safe.
She’ll tell you that only Sheila has the Claim ID to open the safe.
Talk to Sheila again
You may want to have high persuasion for this as you need to persuade her to give the claim ID. I’m not sure if pickpocketing works; maybe it does.
With the manipulation skill as well as a high persuasion skill, you can easily persuade her to give the Claim ID.
(Optional) Get the ES Award
Go back to the safe and unlock the door with the Claim ID. Take the ES Award inside the safe.
Ask society patrons about Larry Dumbrovsky
Back to the main objective, go to the main area and ask the society patrons about Larry Dumbrovsky.
The person who will tell you more about him is this woman. She’ll divulge information that he has a mistress.
Talk to Klaudia Swist
Then, talk to Klaudia Swist.
You can persuade her to give something incriminating on Dumbrovsky or you can pay her 2500 credits.
For the persuasion, I chose the last option with [+6] saying you’re undercover. It worked with rank 4 persuasion.
She’ll then tell you about Gabriel Vera.
Talk to Gabriel Vera
Go back to the gala and talk to Gabriel Vera.
You can tell him about the information you have.
Talk to Evgeny Rokov
As Vera doesn’t say anything, talk to Rokov again.
Speak to Chief Engineer Sandin
The plan is to cause panic in the ship to speak to Vera alone.
Go to Chief Engineer Sandin at the Engineering area.
You can pay 1000 credits or tell him the gambling debt is forgiven.
Disable the life support system
Use the computer to open the door to the Life Support Access room.
Disable the life support system by interacting with all three devices.
Confront Gabriel Vera
Now, head to Gabriel Vera’s cabin to confront him.
Tell him that Dumbrovsky cheated him.
You can then pay him 2500 credits in return for his slate or you can attack him, but I chose the former to avoid any issues.
Confront Larry Dumbrovsky
Finally, meet Larry Dumbrovsky.
He’ll ask you to negotiate but you can say no. I chose to negotiate instead. He’ll take Gabriel Vera’s transaction log and in return gives you GalBank credentials.
Talk to Rokov
Before leaving, talk to Rokov again. He’ll ask you to put a good word for him to Delgado.
Enter the GalBank Archives
Leave the Siren of the Stars and go to New Atlantis.
Head to the Commercial District and enter the GalBank Archives.
Talk to the guard and show credentials.
Deal with the Ecliptic ambush
You’ll be ambushed by Ecliptic members. Take them down.
Recover information regarding GalBank’s lost transport
Use the computer to access files on GalBank’s lost transport.
You’ll find Legacy in the list.
Return to Delgado
Go back to The Key to meet Delgado. You can then say that Rokov helped you and he’ll probably bring Rokov in as a member.
Follow Naeva
After the conversation, follow Naeva.
She’ll ask you about the ES Award. You can lie to her about it or you can give her the award. Perhaps the award can be sold for more.
You’ll earn 3000 credits from her.
Return to UC Vigilance
Report to Commander Ikande at UC Vigilance.
