All That Money Can Buy is a Constellation main story mission in Starfield.
Your objective is to accompany Walter Stroud to buy an artifact.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of All That Money Can Buy in Starfield.
To begin the mission, talk to Walter Stroud.
Travel to Neon
Next, head to Neon which is on Volii Alpha.
Check-in at Stroud-Eklund HQ
After landing, head inside the city of Neon.
Go all the way to the end where the elevator is and go to Stroud-Eklund Corporate HQ.
Let Stroud talk to the receptionist first.
Talk to Issa Eklund
Speak with Issa Eklund who is Stroud’s wife.
You will then get two objectives, i.e. ask about security and investigate the seller.
Ask about security
The first objective “Ask about security” is nearby. Go to the Astral Lounge.
Talk to Boone Morgan.
He will ask for 4,000 credits for the VIP membership. If you can persuade him you’ll get a lower cost.
I chose the options “[+2] Surely a business like Stroud-Eklund already has VIP status” and “[+6] Walter Stroud is coming personally. Surely that’s enough to have Security on hand”.
In the end, it costs 1,000 credits for the VIP.
Check the room controls
After joining the VIP membership, head to the VIP room and use the computer.
Look at the Remote Door Control tab.
Investigate the seller
Once you’re done, find the seller.
Talk to James Newill.
He will ask for credits but you can persuade him for less.
Search the seller’s sleepcrate
Next, head to the Ebbside.
The seller’s sleepcrate is in a locked door. You’ll need a novice skill to open it with a Digipick.
Inside, you’ll find a computer.
Talk to Walter Stroud
Return to Walter. Let them complete their conversation.
Go to Astral Lounge
Proceed to Astral Lounge to meet the seller.
Talk to Walter again.
Find the seller
You’ll need to find the seller. Musgrove is the guy with a huge briefcase standing towards the back of the club.
Talk to him and say “I’m with Ramsay and Travers”.
Speak to Walter Stroud again before heading to the VIP room.
Negotiate for the artifact
Enter the VIP room where Musgrove and Walter already is.
He’ll ask if you want to stand or sit. I chose to sit but it probably doesn’t matter much.
During the dialogue, you have a few options. I chose [Remote trigger the door to close] to make things easy. This is possible after the previous objective where you checked the remote door control.
For the next part, I chose “[Signal Neon Security] The Security team and I have an understanding. They won’t interfere”.
This leads to the artifact being sold at the agreed price.
Talk to the Slayton Agent
After leaving the room, you’ll be confronted by a Slayton Agent, the true owner of the artifact.
You can persuade, attack him or signal Neon Security. I chose to signal the security and he left.
Talk to Issa Eklund
Head back to the club entrance and talk to Issa Eklund.
She’ll say that Slayton has stopped your ship from departing and has put a bounty on you.
Go to Slayton Aerospace HQ
Now, head to Slayton Aerospace HQ which is at the top floor of the same building.
You can then try to persuade the receptionist to meet Nicolaus Slayton.
As I failed, I had to use another way to go up.
Head to the executive level
One other way is by using the computer to allow elevator access.
To do so, you have to lockpick the door with Expert skill using a Digipick.
Then, you’ll need to unlock the elevator maintenance control with Advanced skill.
Go to the elevator and activate it.
Make your way to the next level
As the elevator was a trap by Slayton, you’ll need to choose.
You can either blast your way through all the enemies including some robots, or you can do stealth entirely.
I chose the stealth route. If you do stealth, go to the right vent and open it. Don’t run around or you’ll have to blast your way through.
Use the vent.
Follow the instructions of Issa Eklund who hacked the comms.
In the vent, jump down and follow the conduit.
Go up the vent again.
Walk a little more quietly and jump down from the vent into the room.
Then, wait for Issa to open the next door on the right. Proceed ahead.
At the door, she’ll ask you to wait until the robot has passed.
When she signals to go to the door across, you have to change your default movement to walk instead of run to avoid the robot detection.
Continue ahead. She’ll then close the shutters of the office. Continue making your way straight.
Wait for the cue and walk towards the other door that will be opened by her.
Continue ahead and use the hatch to go up.
Make your way to the next door.
You’ll eventually reach the door to the outside of the building.
Climb the Trade Tower
There’ll be some enemies outside the Trade Tower. Take them down and go around the building, making your way up.
Eventually, you’ll see a door back into the tower.
Talk to Slayton
Wait for the elevator then cross over. Talk to Slayton.
You can ask him to call off the guards or you can choose to attack.
He’ll then ask you what you want to do with Musgrove.
Talk to Musgrove
Head to the room and talk to Musgrove.
You can choose to let him go, or bring him to jail or kill him.
I chose to let him go and Walter likes it.
Return to the ship
Make your way back to the ship.
Talk to Walter Stroud and the mission ends here.
Take off from Neon and a new mission begins.
