The Unbreakable Gosaku is a mythic tale in Ghost of Tsushima.
Your task is to find the musician Yamato and follow the clues to get Gosaku’s armor.

Find the musician
To begin the quest, find Yamato who is in Akashima.
Sit down to listen to his story.
Get six keys
There are six keys kept by different villages and they are all needed for this quest.
Below are the liberation quests:
Get to Akashima
Once you have all six keys, go back to Akashima, at the marked area on the map.
Defeat the Mongols
You will find that the Mongols are already waiting there.
Take out all of them.
There’s also a Mongol leader here to kill.
Get Gosaku’s armor
After clearing the Mongols, open the door at the bottom of the hill using the keys.
Enter the area and use your grappling hook to climb up.
Continue going upwards as you climb the hill and you’ll need your grappling hook a couple of times.
Towards the end, you’ll find Gosaku’s armor inside the chest.
Gosaku’s armor stats
At the base level, Gosaku’s armor will give:
- Moderate increase to health
- Moderate increase to Stagger Damage
- Killing a Staggered enemy restores 10% of health
