Waiting for Dodger is a gig available in Dogtown of Cyberpunk 2077.
Your objective is to rescue two cops from Dodger’s base.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Waiting for Dodger in Cyberpunk 2077.
To begin the gig, head to the location shown in the map below. It’s just outside the entrance to Dogtown.
Get in the car
You’ll see Stella in the car. She is the fiancee of one of the cops you need to rescue. Enter the car to talk to her.
Enter Dodger’s base
You’ll see Dodger’s base just opposite the car.
To enter the base quietly, you can use the right-side route. There are two cops on the right. Take down the one at the ground floor first.
Then, head upstairs and take down the guy who is meditating.
Enter the base through the hatch using 10 Technical Ability.
Find Bill and Charles
For this gig, if you do it in a non-lethal way, you may have the option of not fighting with Dodger.
You’ll see a guard immediately. Take him down.
Continue to crouch your way through the hallway.
Go to the left side room and take down the guy at the computer.
Go back to the office area and distract the guards while you jump into the elevator on the left side.
Use the elevator to go down.
You’ll then see a guard trying to enter the room. Take him down.
Talk to the stranger behind the door.
Talk to Charles
Open the door and talk to Charles.
Then, you’ll meet Bill inside and there’s a dead body inside.
Basically the dead guy swallowed the drugs and they tried to get them out of him but they dissolved. Now, they’re trying to escape Dodger.
Escort Bill and Charles to the squad car
Follow them as they go to the squad car.
In the next area, shut down the camera and take down the guy.
Find a way to open the door
You can then open the door with 20 Body.
The alternative is to go to the other room and look for the fusebox to override.
Continue ahead
After the door opens, there are about 4 more guys to take down.
On the way out, you’ll see a big crate. Inside, you’ll find some stuff.
Keep going until you reach the garage.
Dodger will then show up.
Confront Dodger
Talk to Dodger. He’ll ask you to verify the story of Bill and Charles. If you choose to lie and say that the story was the truth, you’ll need to fight Dodger and the rest.
If you claim that Bill is lying, Dodger will believe you and you can ask them to tell the truth.
Dodger’s goon will then check if the men upstairs are all alive or have been killed. If you had killed them, perhaps Dodger will attack.
