The Heist is a main mission / job under Act 1 of Cyberpunk 2077.
Your objective is to hunt for the Relic which is hidden in Arasaka’s penthouse.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Heist in Cyberpunk 2077.
Danger: Moderate.
Head to The Afterlife
Meet Jackie at the club named The Afterlife. The location is provided in the map.
Talk to Jackie first.
He’ll then lead you to the entrance.
Talk to the bouncer
Just tell the bouncer your names.
Sit with Jackie
Jackie will sit at the bar. Sit beside him.
This part is merely conversational.
Follow the bodyguard
Dex’s bodyguard will come. Follow him to Dex’s place.
Take part in the briefing
Meet Dexter and T-Bug in the room. Put the Flathead in the briefcase.
Sit down to start the conversation.
Tell about Evelyn Parker or not
Here, you’re given an option to either let Dexter know about Evelyn’s deal to cut him loose, or to pretend everything’s alright.
If you choose to let Dexter know the truth, he’ll bump up the cut to 40% due to honesty. However, the decision here may not matter much due to what happens later.
Get to the hotel
You’ll then be provided with a Delamain cab service.
Once you’ve reached the hotel, get down and follow Jackie. Wait for him to take the Flathead.
Follow Jackie
During the scan, explain that you’re arms dealers.
Check in at reception
Talk to the receptionist.
During the conversation, interfere and say it won’t be necessary.
Follow Jackie
Next, follow Jackie to the room.
He’ll stop in front of a bar. You can choose to follow Jackie up or just explore the place yourself first. There are items you can loot around the hotel.
Once you’re ready, head to the elevator and go up to regroup with Jackie.
Take the control shard
After reaching the room, V and Jackie will rest first.
Then, take the chip from Jackie to control the bot.
Scan for an entry point for the Flathead
Scan the area beside the television and you’ll see an entry point.
Scan for a way into the vents
Like before, scan the room and you’ll find the vents at the right side.
Consult with T-Bug
In the following room, the cleaner blocks the vents.
Scan the terrarium cooling unit at the right side. Use the bot to change the temp control.
Once the ladies are gone, ask the bot to enter the vents.
In the next room, just scan the shaft.
Use Flathead to enter the dweller’s room
You will now reach an area where you can control two cameras.
In the first room, scan at the door.
As you can’t open the door, jack in Flathead to the CCTV access point at the left side of the door.
Now, use the dweller’s room’s camera. Neutralize him with the Flathead.
In the dweller’s room, scan for a path for the Flathead, which is on the left.
Then, go back to the first camera and scan the grate.
Go back to the dweller’s room and send Flathead to the netrunner chair.
Sit down
Once you’re done, just sit down and wait.
Head to Yorinobu’s penthouse
Get out of the room and use the elevator to reach the penthouse.
Go to the safe
Head towards the safe.
As it’s not open, go to the switch beside the bed. Turn it on.
Return to the safe and jack in the personal link.
Follow Jackie
Try to leave the area with Jackie.
As the plan fails, hide inside the maintenance shaft.
You will then see Yorinobu and Saboru talking to each other. Yorinobu then kills his father and blames it on poison.
Talk to T-Bug and Jackie
Speak to T-Bug to find a way out.
Go to the balcony door
Head towards the balcony door. T-Bug seems to get killed during this part.
After the door is opened, head outside and look to the left.
Go towards the ladder.
As the plan fails, just jump down and slide down the building.
Call Evelyn
After getting up from the fall, Jackie will be seriously injured. Call Evelyn Parker to find out how to save the Relic.
Reach the elevator
The next part involves a lot of enemies. The aim is to reach the elevator but you’ll come across many guards.
You can take out the first two guards with stealth if you wait for them to move away.
You can try to continue stealth mode or you can just go guns-blazing.
Go to the first elevator but you’ll discover that it’s not working.
Head towards the opposite elevator but there’ll be more guards along the way. Use it to go down to the lobby.
Reach the elevator to the garage
At the lobby, you will come across more enemies here.
A minotaur bot will also appear. A shotgun comes in handy for killing this bot.
You can use the structures around to take cover.
After dealing with the enemies, reach the elevator to the garage.
Enter the Delamain
Many Arasaka guards wait at the garage. Just sprint towards the Delamain and enter.
Get rid of the drones
Arasaka drones will follow the car. You’ll be tasked with shooting them down.
After the drones are down, Jackie will pass on due to injuries. You can’t take him to a ripperdoc.
You’ll then be asked whether to dispose of Jackie’s body, and this one’s up to you.
Head to room 204
After reaching the No-Tell Motel, head to room 204 to meet Dexter.
Talk to Dex inside.
Wash your face
Enter the toilet to wash your face first.
Upon getting out, you will be attacked by Dexter’s bodyguard and shot by Dexter.
The mission ends after V blacks out. A new mission will start immediately.
