Killing in the Name is a side job / mission in Cyberpunk 2077.
Your objective is to investigate the case behind Swedenborg-Riviera.
Here’s a walkthrough of Killing In The Name in Cyberpunk 2077.
Investigate the site
Next, investigate the site from the Bartmoss Collective message.
You can use the computer in your room, or elsewhere as long as there’s a Net tab.
Go to the Net tab and choose Bartmoss Collective. Click on “read more”.
Call Nancy
Call Nancy to ask her about the job posting.
Go to Nancy’s coordinates
Head to the location marked on the map.
You will then reach a flat area.
Scan for clues
If you scan the area, you will see a cable going up.
Climb up the stairs and examine the router. Hack the router.
You will then need to read the message to get the next coordinates.
Go to the signal’s source
Head to the signal source in the Badlands.
You will see the cable coming down from the tower.
Scan the area for clues
Follow the cable and you’ll reach an enemy base. It’s also part of an assault in progress.
Take out the enemies first. This is not part of the mission but you can take all the items from the backpack as well.
Next, climb up the truck and examine the router. Hack it again.
You’ll get another message and head to the next coordinates.
Go to the signal’s source
Head to the signal source south of the map.
Scan the fallen piece of railing first.
Then, climb to the top of the structure.
Hack the router
Once again, examine the router and hack it.
Go to the signal’s source
Finally, you’ll get the last coordinates which is in West Wind Estate.
Talk to Johnny
When you reach the area, talk to Johnny.
Listen to the fortuneteller bot
Next, listen to the fortuneteller bot nearby the group of scavengers.
You can pay to hear your fortune but it’s optional.
Then, scan the bot to see if it’s been manipulated.
Tell Johnny you’ll leave the bot alone
You now have an option to either leave the bot alone or connect to the fortuneteller bot to modify the algorithm.
I chose the first option as it’s funnier that way.
Call Nancy
Finally, talk to Nancy on the phone to tell her what happened. She’ll be stoked to hear that a bot was the one behind this and she loves the story.
You’ll get paid and the mission ends here.
