Don’t Lose Your Mind is a side job / mission involving Delamain in Cyberpunk 2077.
Your objective is to save Delamain as he has been attacked by his multiple personalities.
Here’s a walkthrough of Don’t Lose Your Mind in Cyberpunk 2077.
Return to Delamain HQ
Head to Delamain HQ to begin. The location is provided in the map.
When you use the reception, you won’t get a response. The door is also unusable.
Find a way inside Delamain HQ
If you go out of the building and head towards the right wall, there’s another door.
You need level 8 technical ability.
Find a way to open the door
Enter the room and look for the computer.
Hack the computer with level 8 technical ability.
Go to the Local Network tab and use it to unlock the doors.
Find a way to the stairs (optional)
You can then find the stairs although it’s optional.
When you open the door, you’ll see a drone. You can destroy the drone.
Head to the room on the left.
You should then see an upstairs area. Climb onto the desk and then climb to the upper floor.
From the upper floor, there’s another door you can use to get to the stairs.
You will then reach the stairs area but you don’t have to go down here.
Go downstairs
You should first walk across the walkway. Destroy the two drones before you do so.
In the next area, you will see a grate.
You can lift up the cover and use the ladder to go down.
Cross the room
You will then see a car in front of you.
Push it in front.
Climb onto the car without getting zapped.
From the car, just go straight and go under the car in repair directly in front of you
You will then find another pathway towards the back.
Go on the catwalk
Climb up the ladder.
Go past the catwalk and head to the hangar.
Enter the shaft
You will reach an area with all the Delamain cabs moving around.
Go to the other side. You can do so safely if you climb the platform on the left.
Towards the end of the left platform, there’s a room.
You don’t need to enter the room. At the back of the room, there’s a way to climb up to the shaft.
Now, just listen to the Delamains talking.
Find Delamain’s core
To get to Delamain’s core, jump into the office directly below you.
You will then reach the core. Johnny is also there. You can talk to him first.
Destroy the core / reset the core / merge personalities
You will then have different options.
To merge personalities with Delamain, you need level 10 intelligence.
Another way is to reset Delamain’s core and preserve its integrity. Johnny is against this option as you’ll kill the personalities.
The last one is to destroy the core altogether.
I chose to destroy the core by shooting at it. This means the cabs with different personalities are all freed into the outside world.
Investigate the source of noise
Head to the area where the cabs are. All of them will leave except the original Delamain.
Approach the cab
Go near the car and he’ll ask you to sit inside.
As I destroyed the core, this Delamain calls himself Excelsior now.
Also, you will unlock the car as a ride. The mission ends here.
