In 7 Days To Die, electricity is really important to power up certain items like turrets and electric fences.
You’ll need them greatly when dealing with hordes especially on blood moon night.
One way to get electricity is from a generator bank.
Here’s how you can make a generator bank in 7 Days To Die as of Alpha 19.3.
How to make a generator bank
To craft a generator bank, you’ll either need the schematic or unlock the perk Advanced Engineering. It may be faster to just level up Advanced Engineering and with the perk, you may get a discount on the materials as well.
Once you’ve unlocked it, you need to craft it on a workbench.
You need forged iron, mechanical parts and electrical parts.
Once you’ve built a generator bank, place it near the items you need powered.
For e.g. if you build an electric fence, place the generator near enough to connect via wires, but in a place the zombies won’t likely destroy. If you have auto SMG turrets or shotgun turrets, they’ll probably need a generator as well.
To connect them, use a wire tool and drag the wire to each item.
In each generator, you can place six engines in total. The more engines you have, the more tools can be powered.
You also need gas cans to fuel the generator.
Also do note that generators can only be picked up again if it’s in your land claim block, provided you placed the generator after the land claim block was activated.
