Starfield: Sabotage Mission Walkthrough & Guide

September 8, 2023 by Ordinary Gaming

Sabotage is a Ryujin Industries mission available in Starfield.

Your objective is to infiltrate Infinity LTD to upload some programs and also deal with the mole.

Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Sabotage in Starfield.

Starfield: Sabotage Mission Walkthrough & Guide

To begin the mission, talk to Dalton Fiennes.

Take a seat in the conference room

You’ll then need to get to the conference room and take a seat.

During the dialogue, you can lie saying Imogene confessed to working for Infinity LTD. This is of course if you had chosen to side with Masako.

It probably varies if you side with Ularu instead.

Talk to Veena

After the meeting, look for Veena.

Lie down on the operating table to try out the Internal Neuroamp.

After waking up, you’ll now have a new skill. You can use the scanner and manipulate people with the Internal Neuroamp.

Talk to Veena again. Don’t manipulate her or it might bug the game.

Use manipulation on DeMarcus

You can then test your new ability on DeMarcus to get him to open the door.

Go above the room and you’ll be able to manipulate him from the transparent ceiling.

Activate the manipulation and then point to the test room keycard. You’ll see the “move” button.

Use manipulation again and point to the locked door next. Use the “unlock” button that shows up.

Talk to Masako Imada

Next, you’ll need to meet Masako and Ularu. This is for a briefing for the next mission.

You’re given two options. You can either do stealth which is Option A (through the rooftop), or Option B which has more persuasion skills.

You’re given an Operative Helmet and an Operative Suit which helps stealth.

Talk to Dalton

If you had agreed to expose Ularu, meet Dalton. He’ll check the slate that was given by Ularu.

As expected, Ularu hid something inside the slate to implicate Masako.

Travel to New Atlantis

Now, head on over to the Infinity LTD building in New Atlantis. You can now decide between rooftop access or reception.

I chose the reception. Just use the fake ID Skyler Lumin.

Go to the marketing floor.

Meet Aelys Ortiz

At the marketing floor, you’ll meet Aelys Ortiz.

Sit at the couch and wait for Aelys to leave.

Find a way into Research and Development

Next, go downstairs and look for a vent that leads to Research and Development.

Starfield: Sabotage

Go all the way down the elevator shaft and you’ll reach the floor.

Obtain the Neuroamp Prototype

This mission in general takes a lot of stealth, and is only worth doing if you don’t mind spending a lot of time on it.

Otherwise, you can just blast through everyone. It affects the dialogue at the end of the mission but nothing more if not mistaken.

The Neuroamp Prototype is in a room that is locked and requires a R&D ID Card. You can try to manipulate someone to open the room or if your cover is blown, kill someone and get the card.

Enter the room and get the Internal Neuroamp Prototype from the casing.

Run the program on Faye’s computer

Faye’s office is near the R&D area. You will need to climb the stairs and you’ll reach it.

For this one, I just killed and looted her passcode.

The peaceful way is to stealthily enter the room and unlock the computer with a Digipick. Before that, you have to manipulate her to get her to walk further away.

Run the program and you’re done.

Run the program on Lucas’ computer

Then, look for Lucas’ room. The stealth way is to manipulate him to open the door to his room and then enter the room. Close the door behind you and access the computer with a Digipick.

Run the program.

Deliver the evidence to David Barron

When you’re done, leave the building and head to the SSNN Field Office. Deliver the evidence to David Barron, saying it’s anonymous.

Return to Masako

If you had blasted through like I did, Masako will be angry but then the mission proceeds as usual.

Listen to the conversation

Next, listen to the news by SSNN.

The mission ends here. You’ll earn credits and some items.
