The machete is one of the melee weapons you can get in Sons of the Forest.
It may come in handy if you wish to do melee combat against mutants.

How to find the machete (location)
The machete is located at a beach near the cave where the rebreather and stun gun is found.
You can look at the GPS below. There’s a spot on the map where you see a cave symbol at the beach area. If not mistaken, it’s at the northern part of the map.
Go to the other side of the beach (away from the cave).
At the end of the beach, you’ll see a few tents and belongings left behind.
There’s a machete on one of the deflated boats.
