In Sons of the Forest, you will be required to explore a number of caves.
Most of the important items for the story are actually found within caves, so you’ll need a good light source. The flashlight is probably the best light source you can use in dark places.
Here’s how you can find the flashlight in Sons of the Forest.
How to find the flashlight
At the start of the game, you’ll notice three purple markers on your GPS map.
Each of the purple markers lead to something important.
The purple marker which is located just beside the snowy mountain leads you to the flashlight.
When you reach the area, you’ll hear intense beeping from your GPS device. Go to the top of the cliff and you’ll see some supplies. Cut down the rope.
Go down the cliff and you’ll see that the guy’s body is on the ground now. Loot the flashlight and GPS locator from his body.
