The Burning Blooms is a side quest in Horizon Forbidden West.
Your objective is to look for a Carja huntress roaming in No Man’s Land.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Burning Blooms in Horizon Forbidden West.
Recommended level is 15 and above.
The location of the quest giver is shown in the map below.
Talk to the lady on the ground to start the quest.
Find the Carja huntress
Head to the location shown in the map below to find the Carja huntress.
As you arrive you’ll realize that it’s Talanah from before. Help her defeat the machines.
Follow Talanah
Talk to her after the battle.
Follow her to the battlefield to find out where her friend disappeared to.
Examine the footprints
Head to where Talanah is squatting and examine the footprints.
Investigate the battlefield
Then, investigate the battlefield using the Focus. You’ll see three purple spots on your screen to interact with.
Then, scan for tracks and highlight it.
Follow the tracks.
Talk to the Utaru
You will then meet an Utaru. Talk to him to find out more on Amadis’ whereabouts.
After the conversation, head to the location marked on the map below.
Kill the Shellsnapper
A Shellsnapper will then show up from under the ground.
You can weaken the machine by destroying the beams supporting big rocks.
The rocks should be able to damage the machine a little.
When the fight starts, scan for its weaknesses and target them. The Shellsnapper will go underground many times during the fight. Watch out when it surfaces.
The explosive javelin spear is good for this one.
Enter the tunnel
After the battle, enter the tunnel.
Use focus and you’ll find a dead body under the rubble. Examine it.
The quest ends here.
