Altar of Mirages is one of the domains located in the desert region of Sumeru.
It’s actually located all the way below the desert, between Khemenu Temple and The Mausoleum of King Deshret.
Here’s how you can unlock the Altar of Mirages domain in Genshin Impact.
How to get to the Altar of Mirages
The location of the domain is shown in the map below.
Before trying to go there, it may be better if you finish the quest line Old Notes and New Friends. It’s a very lengthy quest which allows you to get clearance to all doors.

Then for Old Notes and new Friends, you have to do the following quests:
Once you’re ready, use the teleport waypoint at Khemenu Temple. From the waypoint, go towards the west side.
You will reach a large room. Now, look towards the right and there’s a path. Use it.
In the next room, go directly forward and you’ll see a door that needs to be unlocked using the Plinth (stone slate thingy). If you don’t have enough clearance the Plinth will appear red.
Open the door and enter the room. There’s a Dendroculus inside.
Look below and there’s a hole that leads all the way down. Jump down.
You will then reach the Altar of Mirages domain.
