Desert’s Remembrance is a world quest under Old Notes and New Friends in Sumeru.
Your objective is to explore the Tomb of Carouses as seen in Soheil’s note.
Here’s a walkthrough of Desert’s Remembrance in Genshin Impact.
To begin this quest, talk to Soheil after you’re finished with the Dual Evidence quest.
He will give you his old notes.
Search the Tomb of Carouses
Firstly, head to the Tomb of Carouses. It’s at the north-west part of the desert as shown in the map below.
You can enter the tomb via the front entrance.
As you enter, you will see a mechanism in the middle which is red. At the left and right side, there are rooms.
Go to the room on the right and take the crystal. Place the crystal on the platform. Wait for the crystal to respawn and place it on the other platform as well.
You will then unlock a chest and a device.
Now, change the mechanism in the middle to blue color.
Go to the left-side room for the Dendroculus.
Change the mechanism back to red color. Jump down to the lower floor and defeat the two Primal Constructs.
At the bottom floor, go to the left-side. Rotate the cell so that it shoots laser to the wall.
Go back up using the large fan and change the color to red.
Go to the right-side room and take the crystal as you descend the stairs. There’s also a Seelie in the area.
Bring the crystal to the platform to reveal the cell device.
Touch cell to eliminate a wall and the laser can pass through.
The chest is unlocked. Start the console.
Now, use the large fan to go all the way to the top floor.
You’ll see a chest and a stone slate near the pile of coins. Pick them up.
Talk to Soheil
Return to Soheil at Aaru Village to complete the quest.
