Genshin Impact: The Secret Of Al-Ahmar Walkthrough & Guide

The Secret Of Al-Ahmar is one of the world quests in the Sumeru desert region.

Your objective is to investigate the Mausoleum of King Deshret.

Here’s a walkthrough of The Secret of Al-Ahmar in Genshin Impact.

Ride the elevator

The first objective is just to ride the elevator. You will surface on the desert.

Go to King Deshret’s Mausoleum

Next, head on over to King Deshret’s Mausoleum.

Defeat the opponents

Enter the Mausoleum and you’ll face some Primal Constructs. Defeat them both.

Go towards the end of the room to trigger a cutscene.

Try to open the coffin

You will then need to open the coffin which requires four blue orbs.

If you look up at every corner, you will see a red barrier like in the image below. Each orb is behind a red barrier.

Now, you will see two pathways in the room. Go to the one where a trap is shooting out fire rings. Take the crystal.

In the next room past the trap, use the crystal on the platform to reveal the hourglass. This one is optional.

Continue following the path and step on the lit platform. It will reveal a hole and down there you will see another crystal. Take it and go up the unexplored path.

You can use it on another platform.

It will reveal a blue orb device. Release the blue orb.

Before leaving the area, you may want to do the optional Primal Sandglass challenge. There are three hourglasses to flip.

After flipping them all, you will be able to unlock a chest.

Now, back to the blue orb, follow it to the coffin room as it enters one of the pillars.

Now, go back to the room with the fire ring trap. This time, use the door nearby and unlock it with the stone slate.

Try to look up and you’ll find a four-leaf sigil. Use it to get to the second blue orb and release it.

For the other two orbs, go back to the coffin room.

You will see another pathway where a blue laser is in front. This path is also branching.

Follow the path and look for a statue. Above the statue there’s a Dendroculus and the third blue orb.

Now, go back to the blue laser.

From the blue laser, look for the room where you can unlock with the stone slate.

In the same room, you will see a large fan on the ground.

When it blows, use it to fly up.

Get the final and fourth blue orb here. Release it as usual.

All four orbs will enter the pillars.

Go to the upper floor

You can now use the elevator to go to the upper floor.

Go to the highest floor of the mausoleum

Keep using the stairs to go to the top floor.

You will then reach another tomb room.

Head to the marker.

Find the members of the team

After the cutscene, you will be separated from the other members.

Leave the room.

Defeat the Fatui

You will find yourself in a big open sandy space. Glide down and you’ll see the members fighting the Fatui.

Defeat the Fatui.

Find Benben

Next, you will have to find Benben. Just follow the markers provided.

You will reach a room with water. Proceed further inside.

Go deeper within to find Benben. You will see the Fatui colluding with sand people. Defeat them all.

Keep going and you’ll reach a teleport waypoint.

Go to the Fatui camp

From the waypoint, jump down below and you’ll reach a Fatui camp.

Defeat Samail and the Fatui

During the cutscene, you’ll learn about Samail and Jebrael. Defeat Samail and the Fatui.

Proceed deeper within the ruins

Once you’re done with them, you will get Benben back. Make your way up and proceed deeper within the ruins.

Use the crystal on the platform.

Touch the cell and you will get an energy following you.

You basically need to use the yellow crystal to reveal the pyro statues.

There are four pyro statues in total. You can re-touch the cell when you run out of yellow crystal.

After lighting all four pyro statues, you’ll get a chest.

Proceed up the stairs.

In the next area, open the door using the stone slate.

Along the way, you’ll see another hourglass challenge.

Keep going until you reach the room with the chest and the Primal Construct. Defeat it.

To unlock the chest, you basically need to point the cells towards the four crystals surrounding the chest.

After getting the chest, you will notice a door on each side. To unlock the door, you have to rotate the nearest two cells to face the device in front of the door.

One of the doors will lead you to a new device.

You will see a tall device which allows you to mark sacred seals on your map.

If you have enough of them, you can also restore it.

Now, go to the next door and unlock it by rotating the cell.

Defeat the enemy. Use the crystal on the platform.

You will then get the blue orb device. Release it.

Follow the orb and release it again.

You will reach a room with a puzzle. You basically need to shift the cell so that it uses the laser on the other device to open the door.

Behind the door, you will see a platform.

Take the nearby crystal and use it on the platform. You will get another cell device. This device will point the laser towards the device in the middle.
