Invisible Barrier is one of the world quests under the Old Notes and New Friends quest line.
Your objective is to explore four transparent ruins and bring back items you find.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Invisible Barrier in Genshin Impact.
The locations of all four invisible barrier ruins are shown in the map below, marked by the quest symbols.
First transparent ruin guide
The first transparent ruin I went to is the one on the top-right corner among all four ruins.
Look for the entrance with a locked console and a single Primal Construct guarding it. Defeat the enemy first.
Start the console to enter the ruin.
Go inside, grab the crystal and use it on the platform. Touch the cell to allow you to see the walls when you’re walking around.
You’ll eventually reach a Primal Construct. Defeat it.
You will then reach another console and a chest. The chest will give you the stone slate.
Second transparent ruin guide
The second transparent ruin I went to was the one marked below, i.e. west of the first ruin.
Enter the ruin and you’ll see crystal on the chest.
Use the crystal on the platform and you’ll get a cell device.
Wait for the crystal to respawn and use it on the other platform. You will be able to rotate the cell. Make sure it points the laser to the device near the wall.
A door will be unlocked.
Enter the room and you’ll see a console and a chest. Get the slate from the chest.
Third transparent ruin guide
The third transparent ruin I went to was south of Khemenu Temple as marked below.
You will see a crack on the wall with a crystal there.
Take the crystal, place it on the platform and you’ll get a cell device.
Look around the area for a sand pile. Use an Anemo character to get rid of the sand.
You will see a console. Start it.
Enter the next room and get the chest.
Fourth transparent ruin guide
Now, head on over to the last ruin which is south of The Mausoleum of King Deshret as shown in the map below.
Inside the ruin, take the crystal and bring it to the platform.
Ensure the cell laser hits the device.
You will then see a door unlocked. Inside, you will get a chest and a console to open the door.
Return to Soheil
Go back to Soheil to pass the slates. The quest ends here.
