How to make an iron shovel
If you look at your crafting menu, you’ll see that you have to unlock the iron shovel.
You can either scavenge for the iron tools schematic or just use a skill point on the Miner 69’er.
The skill point is the easier way to unlock the iron shovel.
The Miner 69’er skill is under the strength attribute – construction perks.
Once you’ve unlocked the recipe, you can craft an iron shovel with forged iron, wood, leather and duct tape. In the Alpha 19 version, you need 24 forged iron.
