The Demon in the Dark is a side mission that is available in Pandora of Borderlands 3.
The mission is to help a bot find Alkonost, and eliminate the demon that lies within.
This is a walkthrough of The Demon in the Dark in Borderlands 3.
Recommended level: 32 and above.
Pull nearby switch
To open the door to the dungeon, pull the lever located nearby.
Pick up Wren’s head before entering the dungeon.
Reattach the head
Find Wren’s body and reattach the head.
Follow Wren to the next location.
Find that incessant beeping
There’ll be a beeping sound in the area. It’s actually inside the poop which is located on a higher platform.
Destroy the poop and you’ll find Lark’s body inside. Deactivate Lark’s alarm.
Activate Eridian runes
To get to the next area, you need to activate three Eridian runes to open the door.
To activate them, stand on a location where you can see through three circles with an Eridian rune at the end of it.
The first one is on the left side.
You will find the other two on the right side of the room.
Locate signals
You will reach an area where you need to locate signals. The first one is a deserted ECHO log.
The second one is Alkonost’s arm. Pick it up and the skeleton head will fall into the well, similar to what happened in the Mines of Moria (LOTR).
Investigate the disturbance / defeat Lagroma
Head out the room to find out what the noise is.
You’ll come across Lagroma, the demon in the dungeon. Defeat him.
Pick up Alkonost’s head.
Return to Wren and the mission ends here. You will receive 1 Eridium and a shotgun.
