One of the things you need to learn is how to set up a tarp to save the game.
Here’s how you can set up a tarp in Sons of the Forest.
How to set up the tarp
You will find a tarp at the beginning of the game and it appears in your inventory.
All you need to do is to equip the tarp.
Then, look for a suitable place to set it up. The ground needs to be level enough.
You will see red dotted lines if the ground isn’t flat enough and white if works. Just place the tarp when you see the lines are white.
Then, you need to have at least two sticks in your inventory. Look at the bottom corners of the tarp and you’ll see white arrows. Place the stick on the white arrow.
Do the same thing for both sides and the tarp will be done.
You will now be able to save the game. You can also sleep if it’s night time to fast forward time to the next day.
