Finding unique mushrooms is one of the main village quests early on in Monster Hunter Rise.
You simply need to find eight unique mushrooms to complete the quest.
Here’s how you can find the unique mushrooms (location) in MH Rise.
Location of unique mushroom colonies
The map below shows all / most of the unique mushroom colonies in the first map (Shrine Ruins).
They are marked by the green circles on the map.
The challenge with finding them is that they’re all located somewhere high up above.
To get up to some of them easily, you may even need to use a Great Wirebug on one of the Jewel Lilies.
It will propel you all the way up to the top of the hills.
Another way is to just follow the route all the way up the hill.
After getting eight mushrooms, the quest completes and you’ll return to Kamura.
