In Monster Hunter Rise, players will be given all sorts of quests (both main and optional ones).
At one point, you may be asked to take a photo of rock lizards.
Here’s how you can find a rock lizard in MH Rise in the Shrine Ruins map.
Rock lizard location
At the Shrine Ruins map, you should be able to find a rock lizard at the peak of a hill. The location is shown in the map below, marked by the red circle and the player location.
It’s in the number 12 region of the map.
To get up here, you should use the Jewel Lilies at the bottom of the hill, as it brings you all the way up here.
To use the Jewel Lilies, you need a Great Wirebug from the hunter in Kamura Village.
You should then see a Rock Lizard. Take a photo using the camera, and then pick up the Rock Lizard material.
