Constellations are like extra perks or features for each character in Genshin Impact.
There are several constellations available for each character and they’re mostly to enhance existing abilities.
Here’s how you can unlock constellations in Genshin Impact.
How to unlock constellations
To unlock constellations, you always need a special material and it differs between each character.
For your main character, you will need a material called Memory of Roving Gales.
You can only unlock constellations in the order provided. This means you can’t immediately go for your favorite constellation but you have to unlock all the previous ones first.
For other characters, they require their own item (Stella Fortuna) to unlock constellations.
Unfortunately, for other characters, they can only get them from Wishes (gachapon) right now.
How to get Memory of Roving Gales
To get the Memory of Roving Gales, there are three ways:
- Main Quest Reward
- Adventure Rank Reward
- Souvenir Shop
For e.g. if you reach Adventure Rank 27, your character gets a Memory of Roving Gales.
You can also buy a Memory of Roving Gales for 225 Anemo Sigils at the souvenir shop in Mondstadt. The one in Mondstadt is to upgrade the constellation for Anemo skills.
If you buy from Liyue, you get a similar item (Memory of Immovable Crystals) but it only works for the Geo constellation.
