Gazing Three Thousand Miles Away is a world quest in Inazuma in Genshin Impact.

Your task is to help a young boy named Chouji gather some items.

Here’s a walkthrough of Gazing Three Thousand Miles Away in Genshin Impact.

To begin the quest, head to Jakotsu Mine in Inazuma. The exact location is shown in the map below, marked by the player location.

You will see a young boy named Chouji pretty high up the terrain. Talk to him to begin.

Gather 12 Crystal Marrows

You’ll be asked to find 12 crystal marrows. You might as well farm 24 of them as you’ll need another 12 later.

There are plenty of crystal marrows on the same map, in the red circles shown below. They are usually found at those bone-like structures.

Submit 12 to him when you return.

He will then tell you about the treasure.

The location is on the same level as where Chouji stands, but closer to the other end, near some electro puzzle structures.

You just have to dig under the tree and you’ll find an apple and a cabbage.

Confront Chouji after that.

You then have to meet him between 11:00 to 14:00 the next day. You can just fast forward time.

You’ll need to find another 12 chunks of crystal marrow and pass it to him.

After passing the 12 crystals, head to his home just nearby.

You have to give him fowl (4), flour (2) and bird eggs (2) to make a dish.

He’ll then teach you a new ingredient. The cooking pot is beside his house.

Make the Imported Poultry dish wish the same ingredients and submit it to Chouji.

Finally, you’ll be asked to investigate the shrine beside his house.

Grab an electrogranum and enter the barrier. Go to the shrine to investigate.

Return to him and the quest ends here.

If you talk to him again, he’ll ask for another 12 crystal marrows. Give them to him and he’ll say he will go to Tatarasuna.

After Chouji disappears from the front of his house, you can find him in Tatarasuna and Inazuma City for chests and an achievement.
