To begin the quest, head over to Monstadt at the marked location.
You’ll find Nantuck who is from the fishing association.
Meet him at Cider Lake
After the introduction, meet him at Cider Lake.
Here, you’ll be taught how to fish and the fishing mechanism.
You will see a pool of fish nearby. Start fishing.
How to fish
Hold your left mouse button (for PC) and aim it near the fish, but not too close.
The fish will nibble the bait a few times, and once it has bitten it, click on the left mouse button again to start railing it.
Then, hold your left mouse button and ensure that the green bar is within the moving yellow segment. The yellow segment will keep moving, so you have to keep adjusting your hold.
Once the circle is filled, the fish is caught.
Talk to Nantuck again.
Catch an ornamental fish
Now, go over to Stormbearer Mountains. Start fishing for an ornamental fish.
Show Nantuck the fish when you’re done. He’ll be at Mondstadt again.
The quest ends here. You will now be able to purchase fishing items from him.
You can also purchase them from the fishing association members in Liyue and Inazuma.
