The Tea Kettle is an escape room challenge in the Greenhouse in Escape Academy.
Your objective is to solve the puzzles and fix the tea-brewing process.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of The Tea Kettle (Greenhouse) in Escape Academy.
The difficulty is apparently three over five.
Get the shovel and dig
The first thing to do is to get the garden shovel.
You will find two soil areas marked with an X. Dig both of the areas.
You will get a Professor’s Necklace which says KZ.
Another item is the Sereni-Tea Seed.
Padlock code
For the padlock code, you need the initials of AB + KZ.
AB is found on the tree at the start. KZ is from the necklace you found.
Key in the code on the padlock.
Inside the area, you will pick up 4 Strange Tiles.
Arrange the tools
To arrange the tools on the wall, just follow the cup patterns.
Grey = screw, red = paintbrush and blue = wrench.
Follow the same order for the tools and you’ll be able to unlock a chainsaw.
Use The Beast
Use The Beast (chainsaw) on the overgrowth at the door.
How to solve the DNA sequence
Inside the lab, place the Sereni-Tea seed on the weighing machine and you’ll get 0.23 grams.
You will then need to refer to the code used for seeds with the grams between 0.2 and 0.3 (chart on the wall).
Next, look at the chloroplast chart. The chloroplast looks like a green oval in each cell.
Now, place the seed under the microscope.
You should count eight chloroplasts for the seed. Eight chloroplasts according to the chart means -TAG.
Based on the weight and the number of chloroplasts, you will get GTT-TAG. You will then obtain the tea leaves.
Place the tea leaves into the pot.
Solve the strange tiles
For the strange tiles, you can follow the order shown in the image below.
Inside the cabinet, you’ll find two propane tanks.
There’s also fuel inside.
Use the fuel you found inside the cabinet on The Beast.
Then, use The Beast to cut through the overgrowth on the other door.
In the next part, you’ll get a riddle.
Arrange the flower pots
You have to arrange the flower pots. You can follow the order shown in the image below which is DCABE.
To open the cupboard, you have to press six butterflies. On the cupboard, you will see the letters BADBEE highlighted.
Follow the color of the butterflies on the flowers labeled BADBEE, and you’ll get the order pink, green, blue, pink, yellow and yellow.
Inside the cupboard, you’ll find a Bee-B-Gone.
Use the device on the bees outside to restore the water supply.
Finish the tea
Head back to the starting point. Turn on the water.
Replace the propane tank as well. The puzzle ends here.
