Tea ‘N Tea is one of the tougher challenges you’ll face in Escape Academy and it’s situated in The Quad.
Your objective is to defuse the bomb by solving a number of puzzles.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of Tea ‘N Tea (The Quad) in Escape Academy.
The difficulty is 4 / 5 and the time limit is 25 minutes.
Pick up the keychains and keycard
First of all, you should see a police van and a flower van. You can pick up the keychains from the ignition of each vehicle.
Head to the tent and you’ll find a Campus Police Keycard as well.
Open the briefcase
Use the keychains to open the briefcase in the tent in the middle. You’ll then see the bomb. Let it be for now.
Inside, you’ll also see a recipe “Tea for Three”. You will see the ingredients in the ratio of 3:12:9.
How to open the briefcase (3 digit code)
Now, enter the tent with a briefcase and a padlock. You need 3 digits here.
Divide the numbers 3:12:9 by 3, as the ingredients were meant for 3 people.
You will get 1:4:3. The code is 143.
Pick up the Door Buster Recipe inside and a Plasticizer.
How to open the lock with 4 digit code
Now, head to the back of the police van and use the keycard to open it.
You’ll find the Periodic Table of Elements.
You may have seen the word NaNO on another table with a locked case.
Na (sodium) has an element number of 11, where else N (nitrogen) is 7 and O (oxygen) is 8.
Go to the case and key in the code 1178.
Inside, you’ll find a Russian / English dictionary and perhaps a keycard.
How to get the RDX
For the RDX, look for the flower van and use the Bonilla’s Bouquets Keycard.
You’ll find the RDX inside and a map of The Quad.
Chemicals Missing
Now, head back to the van where you see the Chemicals Missing screen.
Insert the Plasticizer you got earlier.
The solvent is just beside the screen.
Finally, place the RDX inside.
If you remember The Door Buster recipe, you have to get the percentages right, and the percentage will reach 100% in total.
Based on the recipe, the correct percentages are RDX 60%, Solvent 10% and Plasticizer 30%.
You will get the Door Buster Bomb.
Use the Door Buster Bomb on the back of the unnamed van.
Flower pot puzzle
You can then solve the flower pot puzzle with the map of The Quad.
Look for the puzzle with tiles. If you translate the Russian words, it means you have to look for red flowers.
The flower locations are all marked on the map. There are six of them in total.
You just need to pinpoint the coordinates of each red flower. You will eventually get the following tiles below:
How to know which wire to cut
After solving the tile puzzle, you’ll get a VHS Tape.
Bring the VHS Tape to the player inside the tent.
You will then get a screen with some Russian words followed by either NO or YES in Russian.
Those which says YES can be cut. In short, you can cut green and yellow wires.
How to figure out which button to press
On the bomb, you’ll also see eight black / white buttons.
Inside the tent, you may have seen a diagram of the bomb. Remember the look.
In the unnamed van, you can press the remote to change the diagram. Press it until you get the identical diagram.
Remember which buttons are lit and which are not.
Follow the same formation for the bomb and press on the Tick button.
Now, cut the green wire.
How to solve the second part of the bomb
The second part of the bomb requires you to listen to the radio.
You can enter the police van and switch the channel to 9:00 am. You will then hear some codes like Alpha UP, Delta DOWN, Foxtrot UP and so on.
Follow what is said in the radio channel.
Basically, you put A, E and F up. Keep B, C and D down.
Press on the Tick button.
Cut the yellow wire.
The challenge ends here.
