7 Days To Die is a zombie plus survival crafting game that relies a lot on food and water.
One of the best skills to have is to be able to convert fruits, plants and flowers into seeds.
Here’s how you can make seeds in 7 Days To Die.
How to get or make seeds
I’m not certain about this but it may be possible to get fruit seeds or plant seeds from scavenging.
That said, a more certain way of getting seeds is by unlocking the perk. Look for the “Living off the Land” perk under the fortitude skills.
You have to get to level 2 (Farmer) which requires around three or four points in the fortitude attribute. It enables you to craft seeds for berries and vegetables. You also get a big discount when making farm plots.
Once you have the perk enabled, you can convert fruits and vegetables into seeds.
For example, you need five of the same plant to convert into one seed (image below). This is as of Alpha 19.3’s version.
You can find plants / berries normally from abandoned farms or from houses.
Once you’re able to craft seeds, you can plant those seeds in farm plots.
Some time later, you’ll have a farm big enough for food supply that you no longer have to worry too much about food.
