Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has been launched and the maps are the same as the old version.
One of the maps you can play in THPS 1 is the School map which looks similar (just with updated graphics).
Here are some tips and guides on the School map in THPS 1 + 2.

School Goals
The Goals you have to achieve in the School map is as follows.
- High Score – 15,000
- Pro Score – 70,000
- Sick Score – 125,000
- High Combo – 100,000
- Collect S-K-A-T-E
- Collect 5 Textbooks
- Grind 5 Tables
- Wallride 5 Bells
- Heelflip the Kicker Gap
- Get the secret tape
How to find all three stats
In this map, you can also find stats. There are three in total.
The first one is just nearby. From the starting point, you will see a basketball court after you land.
Just go through the alley beside the basketball court and you’ll spot a stat behind the court.
The next one is at the playground and is easily reached.
Another one is at the rooftop. To get to the rooftop, you’ll have to find the ramp.
When you start each round, you will begin from an elevated position (green platform). Instead of going straight down, look right and you’ll see a ramp.
Go up the ramp and you’ll reach the rooftop.
How to get all textbooks
The first textbook is inside the basketball court.
After you exit the basketball court, go towards your right and you’ll see an alley.
Follow the alley you should see a textbook at the end.
After getting the textbook mid-air, you should see a ramp in front of you as you land.
Follow the ramp up and you need to jump to the next building. You’ll then see another textbook here.
Once you’re done, get down to ground level. One textbook is located near the long, straight flight of stairs. This one’s the most obvious one.
The last one is located on the rooftop.
To get to the rooftop, you need to find another ramp (same as the one you used to find the stat).
How to get the Vicarious Visions (V) symbol
You should also see the V symbol when you get to this area.
To get to it, you simply need to jump on the railing and at the end of the railing — jump, wallride and jump again to reach the symbol.
Wallride five bells
You are also required to wallride five bells. Most of them can be found easily at open areas, including one in the alley.
The hardest one is probably at the top of a building.
Look for the building with the blue window frames. You need to wallride and grind to climb up.
Once you’re on the same level as the window frames, do the same thing (wallride and grind) to reach the top of the building.
You will then find a bell on the building with the red paint.
How to find the secret tape
To get the secret tape, it’s easier to start from a new round.
Instead of skating straight down the green platform, look towards your right for a ramp.
Use the ramp to reach the rooftop.
You will reach the rooftop area.
Look for a railing that connects to the next building (image below). You need to grind on the railing and reach the next area.
You will then find yourself on a green platform. Just go towards the end to get the secret tape.
