Sons of the Forest comes with a more comprehensive inventory management compared to its predecessor.
When you open your inventory, you’ll immediately see a much neater view of your items. You will need to move your mouse around to see the entire inventory.
Here’s how you can quickslot your items on your backpack and learn how to use your backpack in Sons of the Forest.
How to quickslot your items in the backpack
Enter your inventory.
Click on your backpack to add or remove items.
You’ll now see your backpack in the middle of the inventory. The items that can be added to your backpack will appear normal while the rest will appear greyed out.
To remove items from your backpack, click on the items that are already on your backpack.
How to use your backpack
After sorting out your weapons and items on your backpack, exit the inventory management.
To use your backpack, hold I instead. Tapping I opens the inventory and holding I gets your backpack in front of you
You can then choose which item you want to use.
