Stained Mask is one of the items you need for character level up, particularly for your main character.
They are typically dropped by different types of enemies including hilichurls and samachurls.
Here’s how you can get Stained Mask in Genshin Impact.
How to get Stained Mask
If you read the item description itself, it is obtained in many ways:
- Dropped by level 40+ hilichurls
- Dropped by some level 40+ ranged hilichurls
- Dropped by some level 40+ samachurls
- Dropped by some level 40+ large hilichurls
- Crafted
To find level 40+ hilichurls, ranged hilichurls and samachurls, you should have reached Adventure Rank 30. That is when you unlock World Level 3.
Enemies in Liyue at World Level 3 are mostly above level 40. Luckily, you can find hilichurls almost everywhere.
However, Stained Mask may not drop most of the time, so you may need to keep farming.
It’s easier to make Stained Mask
The easier way to get them is by crafting. Just go to an alchemist either in Mondstadt or Liyue. You can go to Timaeus in Mondstadt and use the crafting machine.
To craft one Stained Mask, you just need 3 Damaged Mask. The latter drops all the time from lower level hilichurls and samachurls.
By now, you would have acquired a substantial number of Damaged Masks.
