In Genshin Impact, food plays a very important role. They can heal you, revive you and give you additional stats for a limited time.
More often than not, I tend to run out of HP / health recovery food.
Here are some of the HP recovery food you may want to get in Genshin Impact.
The common ones
If you’re just starting out, you’ll most likely get some food from the wild, especially fruits from trees (like apples).
They do well in the beginning but after you’ve exceeded level 20, you will find that they barely heal enough.
Cooked and bought food
Cooked food seem to be much better in mid game onwards.
Here are some of the cooked foods for HP recovery alone.
Crystal shrimp
You can learn the crystal shrimp recipe in Liyue. Buy the recipe from the chef.
To make one crystal shrimp, you need three ingredients. The flour and shrimps can be bought from the general goods store.
However, the carrots have to found in the wild.
It heals 18% to 22% of max HP plus some regeneration.
Delicious grilled tiger fish
You can also cook delicious grilled tiger fish if you have the ingredients.
Another way is to buy them from the market vendor in Liyue. You can only purchase up to 10 at one time.
It heals 10% of max HP and an additional 1,200 HP.
Chicken-mushroom skewer
You can also buy chicken-mushroom skewers from shops in Liyue. They should be available in Mondstadt as well.
Otherwise, you can cook them using mushrooms and fowls. To get fowl meat, you have to kill the birds. Mushrooms are common in the wild as well.
This skewer heals 8% to 10% of max HP plus 800 to 1,200 additional HP.
Radish veggie soup
Another food worth getting is the radish veggie soup. You can cook it using mint and radish. Both of these ingredients are quite common.
You often find radishes if you investigate kitchens or houses. Mints are available in the wild.
