Bookworm Swordsman is a Story Quest available at Adventure Rank 26 in Genshin Impact.
Your task is to get the Teyvat Travel Guide in Liyue Harbor but there are plenty of things to do in between.
Here’s a walkthrough of Bookworm Swordsman in Genshin Impact.
This walkthrough is divided into various sub-quests.
Justice, for Books’ Sake
The first sub-quest is Justice, for Books’ Sake.
To begin the quest, go to the Wanwen Bookhouse in Liyue Harbor. The location is provided in the map.
Talk to Jifang, the person who runs the book shop. She’ll tell you that the Teyvat Travel Guide hasn’t been in stock for a long time.
Next, go to Qingce Village to find the author. The location is provided in the map.
You need to find a man named Chang the Ninth. To get to him, look for the ladders near the hill. Climb up the ladders.
You’ll see him in front of the house. Talk to him.
During the cutscene, he will be threatened by some thugs. You will also meet Xingqiu.
After Xingqiu disappears, look for him in the village. The location is provided as well.
Talk to him.
After the cutscene, you have to defeat the Fatui members.
Know Thyself, Know Thy Enemy
For the next sub-quest, you have to go to Gentry Maocai’s residence in Liyue Harbor. He is the one behind the threats.
The location of his residence is provided in the map as well.
Talk to the guard in front of his residence and he’ll tell you Maocai’s whereabouts.
Again, Maocai’s location is shown on the map.
Get to his location and eavesdrop on his conversation with the Fatui.
Next, meet up with Xingqiu in Liyue Harbor, at the location provided below.
Report your findings to the guy.
Calm Before the Storm
The next sub-quest is Calm Before The Storm.
Xingqiu will ask for your help to meet the Feiyun Commerce Guild in Liyue Harbor. The location’s provided as well.
Talk to Xu who is standing in front of the Commerce building. After the cutscene, leave the building and buy up the Cor Lapis around the harbor.
Three locations will be provided in Liyue Harbor where you have to buy up all the Cor Lapis to stop Gentry Maocai.
One of them is Ivanovich near the dock.
Another is Bolai who is one floor below Ivanovich.
The last person is Changshun who is located near the antique shop.
Once you’re done with Liyue Harbor, go to the Chasm to buy up the unsold Cor Lapis.
The Chasm is located south of Lingju Pass.
Speak to the guy here.
He’ll ask for your help to find the carts containing the Cor Lapis. There are five of them in total.
Get to the location marked on the map.
There are five carts loaded with Cor Lapis within the circle on the map.
Three of the carts are left alone while two of them are guarded by some hilichurls.
Go to each cart and check on the content.
Return to Shizuang the Strong to tell him about the carts.
After you’re done, go back to Chang the Ninth in Qingce Village.
Buy up his portion of Cor Lapis.
Justice Is Its Own Reward
We now move to the last sub-quest.
After buying up all the Cor Lapis available in Liyue, go to the warehouse to watch the show.
It’s located west of Mt. Tianheng.
You will see Xingqiu already waiting there.
After the cutscene, you need to defeat the attacking Fatui.
Once you’re done with the thugs, you have to face the boss.
Here, you need to defeat Fatui Javert who uses flaming blades.
After beating the Fatui and learning of Xingqiu’s true identity, go back to Chang the Ninth at Qingce Village.
Return the Legend of the Shattered Halberd book to him.
The quest ends here.
