In Pursuit of Truth is the last main quest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Your objective is to rescue Rayhan and enter the temple to find out what the truth is.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of In Pursuit of Truth in AC Mirage.
Hurry back to the camp
As the quest begins, head back to camp. You can use the horse to go there quicker.
Then, ditch the horse and climb up. Use the upper platform.
Save Rayhan
When you reach the area, you’ll see Rayhan and some Hidden Ones captured. There’ll be enemies all over. Slowly assassinate them as you go on.
To get to the back of the attackers, you can use the left-side path.
Take down the enemy near a prisoner.
Continue ahead and kill the other guards along the way.
There are five enemies near Rayhan including Kabeer Al-jund and if you have a full bar of focus assassination, you can kill all of them together.
After the enemies are gone, free Rayhan.
Go to the temple
After the cutscene, head to the temple. There’ll be more guards along the way.
Make your way to the temple where Basim did his initiation.
Assassinate all the soldiers in the area.
Examine the rock wall
After securing the area, examine the symbol on the rock wall.
Basim will then be interrupted by Roshan who appears.
Defeat Roshan
You’ll now need to defeat Roshan.
For the first part, use a throwing knife to bring her health down quickly to half (normal difficulty).
Then, you can start using your sword attacks.
The smoke bomb can distract her a little. The trap doesn’t seem to do much but maybe it affects her for about a second.
Proceed ahead
After defeating Roshan, Basim will open the gate with his blood and enter the new area.
You can interact with the weird stuff on the wall.
Keep going ahead and go through the unique structures.
You’ll see a symbol at the wall. Interact with it.
You’ll then watch some cutscenes.
Walk towards the red mirage
You’ll reach a shadowy area. Walk towards the red mirage while Basim talks to himself.
Keep doing the same thing until you see a big structure in front of you. Walk towards that.
Then, jump down.
You’ll meet the jinni and Basim now understands that the jinni represents who he was in a previous life (perhaps Loki?). You’ll remember Loki if you had played Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Basim then understands that Nehal is himself. Perhaps she’s another part of his consciousness / or his previous life depending on how you interpret it.
Basim then wakes up later and reunites with Rayhan. Roshan on the other hand is alive but she left the Hidden Ones.
Basim then summons his eagle but the eagle attacks him instead. This perhaps shows that Basim isn’t who he is before but is now a merged personality (with Loki’s trickster attitude perhaps).
The quest and the game ends here.
You’ll be returned to Baghdad after the credits and will be able to do the side stuff.
