The Serpent’s Nest is a main story quest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Your objective is to find and assassinate Qabiha who is the leader of the Order of the Ancients.
Here’s a walkthrough and guide of The Serpent’s Nest in AC Mirage.
Look for ways into the Palace
You’ll need to find a way to infiltrate the Palace.
Go to the front and you’ll see Ali’s men there. They want to get in to fight but the door is barred.
To let them in, you’ll need to remove the bars.
Go all the way to the left of the wall and you’ll find a crack you can slip into.
Make your way towards the main door and assassinate the guards along the way.
Go towards the door and you can either use your throwing knives to destroy the two bars or use your sword.
You will also need to open the door for them even after the bar is gone.
Head to the main door
Once the guards are in, Ali’s rebels will fight all the way to the next door that leads into the Palace.
However, the door is barred again and the men are stuck outside.
Find a way to open the gate
If you go to the left side, you’ll find a room filled with civilians.
There’s a eunuch there that can help you with the master key if you have the token.
However, I didn’t have a token at the time so I didn’t use this method.
Another way is to enter the building through the top.
You can climb up the wall near the main door. There will be guards all over. Take them down quietly.
Continue to make your way even higher up using the platforms. You should also see the entrance symbol on your screen if you look up.
That’s the floor you want to be at.
At the correct floor, you’ll see a way inside the main building.
Look down and you’ll see some guards below and that’s where the barred door you’re trying to open is.
Jump down and you’ll land on water.
Destroy the bars and open the door for the rebels.
The rebels will then storm in and help fight the guards.
Inside, you’ll see another group of soldiers. You can take out most of them with max focus assassination.
Find Qabiha
Now that the soldiers are dealt with, look for Qabiha.
Use eagle vision to find her location. It should lead you to a door.
Open the door and you’ll see steps going down.
Then, you’ll see that the door is barred.
Look above and you’ll find an open window. If you can’t climb up here immediately, try getting up to the opposite room and jump there.
A cutscene will trigger as you get in. Qabiha isn’t inside but her son Abu Abdallah is. He’s the son of the Caliph from the start of the game.
Leave the bath area and continue to look for Qabiha at the library.
Go to the next clue on your screen and you’ll met Makira yet again.
Leave her alone and she’ll alert the guards.
Follow Makira
While you’re out of her sight, she’ll walk towards Qabiha’s location. Follow her without getting spotted.
There’ll be guards along the way. Take them down.
Find Qabiha’s hidden chamber
Makira will lead you to a room near Qabiha’s chamber.
Use eagle vision to find the book. Collect it.
How to solve the book puzzle
If you look up, you’ll see four symbols that represent ocean, desert, cobra and dove. They basically represent colors.
Ocean is blue, desert is yellow, cobra is black and dove is white.
Go upstairs and you’ll see four pedestals where you can place books. Each pedestal has a symbol on the wall.
All you need to do is to place the books matching both the color and the symbol. For e.g. place the white book for dove.
Assassinate Qabiha
The hidden door opens. Go down to find Qabiha.
You’ll see her in her room. Chase after her until the cutscene is triggered.
She’ll then tell Basim that he is more than human and has a greater purpose. Roshan appears and kills Qabiha instead.
The quest ends here.
